Deish Media · About
Deish Media LLC is an independent digital products company — audio plug-ins today, trading tools and apparel alongside. No investors, no roadmap dictated by a subscription renewal date. Just products built to be owned outright.
Where it started
Deish Media's audio line started the way most tools worth using start — with a specific, recurring annoyance. Prisma, the first product, came out of more than ten years of bedroom production, DJing and mixing: the experience of having a spectrum analyzer in one plug-in, a loudness meter in another, a goniometer in a third, and none of them agreeing with each other or looking like they belonged to the same session. Building the tool that should have already existed turned into the company.
That background is also why the products are shaped the way they are. They're built by someone who has actually sat in front of an untreated room trying to guess whether the low end is real, checked a promo on a laptop speaker before a set, and needed a true-peak reading that would hold up on a delivery deadline — not designed from a spec sheet with no mix engineer in the room.
What we're building
The company's products share one idea before they share any code: a licence should buy you exactly the tool you need, not a bundle you have to work around. Prisma Suite is five real-time analyzers — spectrum, spectrogram, oscilloscope, goniometer and full BS.1770-4 loudness metering — built from one codebase so a single licence covers the whole suite or any one analyzer on its own. Base6, still in development, takes the same idea from the other direction: six things a channel actually needs — EQ, filter, dynamics, delay, reverb and utility gain — in one window, each one toggled on only when you want it.
Pricing follows the same logic. Deish Media's products sell for $10–30 as a one-time purchase, not because the goal is to be the cheapest thing in the category — plenty of free single-purpose tools already exist — but because a real, lifetime licence at that price is meant to be an easy "just buy it," for people who'd otherwise go without or go around the software entirely. No subscription, no recurring fee, no feature held behind a renewal.
We're not chasing every category. Licensed hardware emulation, synths, and hundred-plugin bundle houses are somebody else's game. Deish Media's lane is focused, everyday tools — the ones you'd reach for on every channel of a mix — designed and priced so owning the whole toolkit doesn't cost more than a night out.
How we build
Deish Media is built by one person, using modern development tools — including AI coding assistants — the way any small engineering shop uses its tooling: to move faster on the work a human is still deciding, designing and reviewing line by line. That's a development-process fact, not a product feature. Neither Prisma nor Base6 has any AI-driven runtime behavior — every analyzer reading and every audio path is deterministic signal processing, not a model making a guess. See the AI policy for the fuller explanation.
Being small is a design constraint we build around rather than apologize for: fewer products, each one maintained rather than shipped and forgotten, and a company structure that can say no to a category instead of chasing every one at once.
