Privacy Policy.
What Deish Media collects when you visit this site or buy a licence, who it's shared with, and how to reach us about it.
Last updated 30 July 2026. Drafted as a working starting point and not yet reviewed by an attorney. It is not legal advice. If anything here is unclear, or you want more detail on your rights, contact us at deishmedia@gmail.com.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers deishmedia.com and its category hubs (/audio/, /trading/, /apparel/), and the licence-activation service used by Deish.Audio products (Prisma Suite, Base6ix). It is operated by Deish Media LLC (“Deish Media,” “we,” “us”). A person handles every request under this policy, not a queue.
What we collect
We collect as little as the product actually needs.
- Email address, collected by Stripe at checkout when you buy a licence. Stripe's hosted checkout requires an email to complete a purchase. We receive it so we can send your licence serial and provide support.
- A machine fingerprint hash, generated by the plug-in when you activate a licence. This is a one-way hash derived from a stable machine identifier (the Windows machine GUID, or the equivalent on macOS). We never receive or store your raw hardware identifiers, only the hash, and it exists solely to enforce the three-device limit on your licence.
- Your licence serial and purchase record, so we can verify a licence, help with support, and enforce the device limit.
- Basic site traffic data that any web host generates automatically, such as your IP address and browser type, purely as server logs from hosting the site. Deish Media does not currently run any analytics or tracking script (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking cookies) on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and this section will say exactly what was added and why.
What we don't collect
We never see or store your payment card details. All payment processing happens entirely on Stripe's systems. Card numbers, expiry dates and CVVs never reach Deish Media's servers or databases. We also don't collect your name, physical address, or phone number unless you volunteer it to us directly, for example in a support email.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party processors to run the business. We don't sell your data to anyone, for any reason.
- Stripe. Handles all payment processing and collects your email at checkout. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Microsoft Azure. Hosts this website (Static Web Apps), the licence-activation backend (Azure Functions), the licence and activation records (Azure Table Storage), and sends the serial email after a purchase (Azure Communication Services). See Microsoft's privacy statement.
Both are used strictly as infrastructure providers to deliver the product and service you purchased. Neither is permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Licence and activation records are kept for the life of your licence, since Prisma and Base6ix are sold as perpetual (lifetime) licences and we need the record to support activation, reactivation, and device-limit requests indefinitely. Purchase records are kept as needed for support, accounting, and legal or tax obligations. If you'd like a record deleted and it isn't still needed for one of those reasons, email us and we'll act on the request.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us at any time to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct it if it's wrong.
- Delete it, subject to the retention needs in Section 5. For example, we may need to keep a minimal purchase record for accounting even after a deletion request.
We don't sell or share personal data for cross-context advertising, so there's nothing to opt out of on that front. To exercise any of these rights, email deishmedia@gmail.com. We'll respond directly.
GDPR and CCPA, a short honest note
Deish Media is a small, US-operated business selling a global, English-language, USD-priced product. We aren't able to make a formal determination here about exactly which regional privacy laws apply to any given visitor or customer. That depends on facts, like sales volume and geography, that change over time, and it is exactly the kind of question we intend to have a lawyer confirm. In the meantime, we've written this policy so its actual commitments (what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your right to access, correct or delete it) hold up regardless of where you're located, rather than only promising the bare legal minimum.
Children's privacy
This site and our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way (especially if we ever add analytics, tracking, or a new category of data collection), we'll update the “Last updated” date above and describe the change plainly rather than burying it in a rewrite.
